Terms & Conditions

01. Corporate and General Terms

• Data Collection & Regulatory Compliance (PDPA Act No. 9 of 2022): In strict accordance with the Sri Lanka Personal Data Protection Act, the institute securely stores and processes personal information (NIC numbers, contact numbers, residential addresses, photographs, and bank payment slips) exclusively for legitimate educational and administrative purposes (automated QR ID generation, SMS notifications, and identity verification).
• Right to be Forgotten: Should any user wish to have their account or personal data permanently removed from the system, they may formally request the administration (Admin). Upon verification, the administration will securely deactivate the account and erase personal identifiers in accordance with data retention regulations.
• Cookies & Social Login Integrations: The system strictly utilizes Essential Cookies, secure authentication tokens for Google/Facebook Social Login, and 'Remember Me' features. We guarantee that no unauthorized tracking or data harvesting cookies are deployed.
• Limitation of Liability: The institute shall not be held liable for temporary service interruptions, network carrier failures, or disruptions caused by unforeseen cyber incidents. However, industry-standard technical safeguards and firewalls are actively maintained.
• Account Suspension: The administration retains the unilateral right to immediately deactivate, suspend, or terminate the account of any user found violating institutional policies, copyright laws, or code of conduct without prior notice.
• System Security & Audit Logging: Every financial transaction, bank slip upload, and administrative action is immutably logged with corresponding IP addresses. Any unauthorized tampering or intrusion attempt is strictly prohibited and subject to legal prosecution.
• PRO Package & SaaS Licensing: Platform subscriptions (PRO Package upgrades and Bulk ID Card credits) are digital enterprise services activated upon manual receipt verification, and are strictly non-refundable once activated.
• Jurisdiction: All terms, conditions, and platform operations are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

02. Terms for Students

Account Management, Identification & NIC Verification

• All registered information must be 100% accurate. To prevent proxy attendance and impersonation, students are required to undergo Identity Verification (NIC Verification) by uploading legible front and back images of their National Identity Card, Postal ID, or Passport.
• Minors' Consent: Students under the age of 18 must certify that they have obtained explicit consent from their parents or legal guardians to register and provide personal data.
• The system-generated QR Digital ID card is strictly mandatory for physical class entrance and attendance verification. Transferring or sharing your ID card is strictly prohibited.
• Account Sharing: Sharing your login credentials is strictly forbidden. Attempting concurrent logins across multiple devices may trigger automated security suspensions.

Payments & Online Bank Slip Uploads

• Class fees can be settled in cash at the institute or transferred to the institute's official bank account with the deposit slip uploaded via the student portal.
• Uploaded bank slips must clearly show the date, amount, and reference number. Access to class materials is granted upon administrative verification and approval.
• In the event of pending dues, the automated system will restrict access to class content until all dues are resolved.

Live Classes, Streaming & Code of Conduct

• Live Class interactive chat is strictly intended for educational queries. Sending offensive messages, spamming, or engaging in cyberbullying will result in immediate chat ban or account termination.
• Intellectual Property & Screen Recording Ban: Screen recording, capturing, stream ripping, downloading, or re-distributing live sessions, video lessons, and PDF tutorials is strictly prohibited under the Intellectual Property Act of Sri Lanka.

Assignments (Homework) & Mobile Application

• All coursework must be submitted before deadline expiration in PDF, JPG, or PNG format (max file size 10MB).
• Students utilizing the official Knowledge Win Android App are subject to all platform terms and device security policies.

03. Terms for Instructors

Content Ownership & Academic Responsibility

• Instructors bear sole and full responsibility for the copyright compliance, academic integrity, and accuracy of all video lectures, live streams, and course materials uploaded to the LMS.
• Indemnification: Instructors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the institute against all legal damages, fines, and attorney fees arising from any intellectual property infringement caused by their uploaded content.
• The administration reserves the right to review and remove content that violates safety, decency, or legal regulations.

Payouts & System Commissions

• Instructor payouts are calculated based on total settled physical payments and verified online bank slip enrollments, minus the institutional system commission.
• All settlements are derived transparently from official system-generated logs, viewable in real-time on the instructor's 'My Earnings' dashboard.

Student Privacy & Live Session Management

• Instructors are strictly prohibited from exporting, sharing, or commercializing student personal contact information visible through the LMS.
• Instructors are obligated to conduct scheduled live sessions punctually and provide timely grading and constructive feedback on student submissions.
